TeamCFA.org
Team Challenge Foundation Academy needed an official website to replace their placeholder site. We built a custom CMS using open source tools like Ruby on Rails, Prototype, and Scriptaculous.
Each of the site’s five sections have their own color scheme and landing pages with touts and featured content.
Four different page types and their respective subcategories allow content like FAQs to be easily created and organized while subtle, automated interaction improves the user experience.
Flickr integration in the CMS is output on the front end with automated LightWindow galleries.
Parents, teachers and students will be encouraged to use the site to engage with TeamCFA and interact with its constituents. A simple, assistive interface uses JavaScript in meaningful ways to increase the speed and function of site messaging.
Moderation queues assist site administration and put critical tasks within easy reach — approving, rejecting and editing content is just a click away.
Consistent interactive cues are used throughout the site to provide comfort and consistency to users.
